The Little Seeds (2 - 3 yrs)

​In this stage of development children are beginning to establish their own personal independence. We want your child to feel loved, tended to, and supported in their growth – beginning to root down and start their learning journey. ​

About This Class

The Little Seeds class is a nurturing environment that is skillfully guided by early childhood educators who offer a diverse range of enriching activities.
Through the use of songs, art, stories, and outdoor education, children will develop their own autonomy, gross and fine motor skills, early literacy foundations, and confidence in their own abilities.
They'll also get hands-on experience with outdoor elements such as sand and water, play, and begin to understand the order of events, following directions, and socializing with their peers. Upon open availability, enrollment is open year-round, Monday-Friday, twice a week (minimum).

The Super Sprouts (3 - 4 yrs)

​​In this stage of development children are beginning to take initiative and test their abilities. Rooted in play, fun, and exploration, the sprouts classroom will be gaining confidence and growing stronger lovingly guided through decisions, and capable of following classroom routines, and higher order thinking concepts. 

About This Class

In the Super Sprouts class we will be encouraging exploration and giving opportunity for children to plan and initiate activities, accomplish tasks, and make choices about their environment.

Children will build on their knowledge and test their understanding of the world around them. This class allows students to savor their childhood by offering a consistent place to explore, play, and learn at the pace of nature.

The Rocking Roots (Multi-Age)

​This classroom is designed for children who thrive on a more flexible and individual pace. The focus is on discovery and the joy of learning. Children are able to relax and enjoy the learning process. Because each child develops differently, they can focus on their own learning goals and progress.

About This Class

The Rocking Roots will be in an environment created to offer discovery, exploration, and foundation. Children will be encouraged to develop autonomy, independence, initiative while given support and encouragement to play and develop a love of learning. 

The Mighty Trees (Transitional Kindergarten)

In this stage of development children are continuing to challenge the world around them, developing their own interpersonal skills, and independence. This classroom will offer space and encouragement for taking initiative and exploring interests, as well as provide boundaries and limits- giving children structure and routine to foster freedom in problem solving while encouraging creative minds to play, socialize and discover.

About This Class

Heritage offers Transitional Kindergarten that is truly a bridge between preschool and elementary school.
TK at Heritage will support children as they emerge and develop skillsets associated with school readiness through high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum. Creative Curriculum nurtures every child''s curiosity and promotes development in every area, taking a whole-child approach. The Mighty Trees classroom will be building your child up to prepare and stand tall in their confidence for their next learning journey.
